WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD CODY!

True story to tell about reality in the small town of Gresham. Cody got his first dose of reality last night, living in the real world. There is this boy William 7 years old. He hung around last summer, came over a couple of times to swim in the pool. You know you think 7 year olds harmless, right, WRONG. This is the conversation per Cody. William told him that he has cigarettes at his house and a lighter. Cody said cigarettes are bad, my daddy said so. Then Cody thought. I do not want to play with you anymore (they were bike riding just around the block) and then Cody said you have the count of 3 to get out of my yard. He told Bill he counted 1, 2, and 3 and William left. Can you believe that? We could not be prouder and Bill of course sometimes said it's hard to make the right choices when you want to make new friends, but you made the right choice Cody, you did real good. We praised him a lot for that one. WOW! Just had to share this story, we must be doing something right! YES!
